[K-pop] 엑소(EXO)-으르렁(growl)

EXO is one of the famous K-pop group in South Korea. They belong to SM entertainment, one of the three big music companies in South Korea. EXO is consisted of 12 members. They are Lay, Chanyeol, D.O, Baekhyun, Tao, Luhan, Sehun, Xiumin, Kai, ,Suho, Chen, and Kris.
There are 8 Korean members and 4 Chinesse members.
Chinesse members are Tao, Kris, Luhan, and Lay.

 Hi.My name is Ayoung Yoon.My English name is Stephanie Yoon. I'm a Korean girl and I'm becoming 3rd grade in March at Daewang middle school. Let me introduce my family. There are 4 members in my family, my dad, my mom, my younger brother, and me. My brother is an elementary school student, my mother is a teacher and my dad is a car master. Car master is a person who sells cars.(I think)
    About my future dream, I think I don't have it yet. My hobbies are reading books, knitting, listening to music, watching TV, ice skating and learning foreign languages. My forte is  English speech.

   The reason that I made this blog at first was because I was at camp called GLPS and Mr.G(one of the teachers)told us to make a blog and write our writing projects on the blog.(But I wasn't so good at it). After GLPS, I didn't use this blog for a long time but from now on, I am going to write about Korea on this blog. So,I hope you can have a good time at my blog! Thank you. :)

    Hello, everyone! Today, I'm gonna write about compare and contrast essay. I am going to compare myself  and Akshadha from Banglore, India.

     First, I am gonna compare my familiy and Akshadha's family. Akshadha's father is a DHOBI. (DHOBI is a Hindi word for LAUNDRY WASHER.) He's been working in his working place(?) for years and he works for full days at Saturday and Sunday. He goes to the work at 7a.m. and leave at 8 p.m. He also works in the two hospitals for two days and then 2 days at home. He brings clothes to wash it at home, so that's 6 days.His working place is 2km away from his house. I'll talk about my parents

What I Should Do

Blog Checklist!

1-Daily posts about what's going on at GLPS (kind of like your English Diary), complete with

pictures taken from the GLPS website (or your own camera if you have one). 

3-A movie, music, or book review (or even one of each!) complete with video or pictures.  At least 200-300 words in length.

4-A discussion and investigation concerning a "viral video," where you post the video and find out some background information.  Some of you have posted videos (many) but haven't written about them.  Remember - a blog is for WRITING.  This should be 200-300 words at least.

5-An S.A.T. style reflective essay written about the short film "Spring."  You should have the video accompanying your essay so people can know what you are writing about. Here's a good example!

6-Your History presentations with pictures.

7-Have left at least 10 comments on 10 other students blogs (and not just "Hello!")

8-Diamante Poems with pictures.

IF you are done with all of that, why not keep writing?  Here are some ideas:

1-An "argumentative essay" based on what you are discussing in Debate Class.

2-A short story!  Try out one of the "Wacky Web Tales" in my links above.

3-Letter to your parents or a friend.

4-A poem about whatever you want to write about.

5-A poll about GLPS, with your opinion on something.

6-Anything you want! Your blog is yours and you should have fun with it.

 

The S.A.T Style Reflective essay-"Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring

 Hi, I'm Stephanie Yoon and I hope you enjoy my S.A.T style Reflective essay!!!

        I think the teacher monk is trying to teach his young student that even though it's animals, all lives are valuable as the humans.. That is my opinion and I agree with my opinion.. The teacher monk saw his young student what he was doing with the animals by tying some stones around their bodies. I hope he learned his lesson by doing the same things that he done to those animals.

        I'll tell you one of my experience that was almost close to the little monk did. When I was about 7 years old. I really like to catch the dragon flies and rip their wings and let it go in the air,(actually, I threw will make more sense..)and of course, they could not fly.(My mom and dad didn't know about this..)

        One day, I was walking to my home with my mom. I asked her to catch some dragon flies for me. So my mother caught a dragon fly and I played with it. I gripped it's wings tight so it wouldn't fly away. When I was trying to rip it's wings, it bit me! That's right, it bit me! It hurts when you get  bitten by the bugs.(Es pecially the dragon flies)

        From that day, I have learned my lesson. I promised myself that I would respect all the living things. I think my lesson and young monk's lesson have a similaraties. The only diffrence is that  I learned my lesson by a bug.. :<
 
       Looking back from now, I feel disgusted by what I have done when I was young. I feel glad that dragon fly bit me because, that really taught me a lesson. From now on, I swear that I will respect the living things. (even though it's a bug)
